For severely built up hard water stains you may need to work in small sections applying extra pressure and using rapid motion in a concentrated area until the spots are gone and then move on to the next area. If you go through the steps as recommended and it still does not remove the stains then there's a good chance that the stains aren't standard hard water stains and are actually etched into the glass and will require professional buffing https://youtu.be/HZEjj9KM-TU to remove a thin layer of glass and remove the etching. If your glass is dull and is not shiny and has been etched by hard water, soap & shampoo chemicals then Koenig polish will not repair the etching and we don't claim that it does.
